Enables QA testers to progressively introduce elements of WCAG testing into their work. These courses strip away the complexities of WCAG to introduce success criteria/checkpoints that are easy to pick up by testers who never wish to become “experts in WCAG”.
The 1-day Fundamentals course looks at a core set of simple accessibility test methodologies your QA team can integrate with their current test scripts while a site is being built to find accessibility errors throughout the build process when it’s more cost-effective to fix them. The tests can also be used post-launch to test updated or new content. It provides hands-on experience of accessibility tests that can reliably be done manually, often without the need for additional tools.
The 1-day Advanced course builds on the foundation of the Fundamentals course to provide a fully comprehensive training program for QA testers. It covers the rest of the WCAG Success Criteria, which are not covered in the Fundamentals course, including testing with screen readers and on mobile devices.
